Holland-Inspired Garden Package
The Preschool 4-year olds have added their personal touch to a Holland-Inspired Tricycle Planter. The wrought iron tricycle planter contains one flower pot from each of the PK4 Classes. Each pot is painted with flowers created from the children’s fingerprints and names and planted with Holland’s national flower, the tulip. This package also includes a very large gift certificate from a local nursery and three decorated garden bags that are filled with all of your gardening needs. Each class’s garden bag has unique designs and signatures of each of the students and is filled to the brim with seeds, bulbs, garden tools, garden plaques, bird feeders and much more! The winner of this wonderful package may be interested in working their own international deal and selling two of the bags to parents in the other preschool classes or keeping them all to create the ideal Holland Garden right here in Pocatello.

L-111: Winter at Harriman: by Dave Heberlein
This set of pictures depicts two scenes of winter at Harriman State Park located about 80 miles north of Idaho Falls, Idaho at Island Park. The out buildings and cottages in the background are at the heart of Harriman State Park. The mist is rising from the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River in both pictures which were taken a year apart. The skier in the mist is making their way back to the Ranch Manager’s House after a ski along the river at sunset. The second photograph is looking east along the Henry’s Fork from the cottages toward the Tetons at sunrise.
Dave is a Financial Consultant at A.G. Edwards. Among his hobbies is photography in which he completed the Professional Photography course from the New York Institute of Photography in 2003.

Season tickets to The Symphony! This should be one of the best seasons yet for the Idaho State Civic Symphony. All performances are held at Jenson Performing Art Center on Friday evenings. This year we are excited to be bringing in a fresh new face to the Pocatello music scene – Chung Park as the new Conductor. Come enjoy music from around the world with the Idaho State Civic Symphony!

L-120: "An Uplifting Experience"
Add a touch of Pocatello history to your outdoor décor with a lift chair "swing" from the Pebble Creek Ski Area. Mrs. Williams’ fifth grade class has one of the original lift chairs donated by Rufus & Tracy VanDyke. Mr. Ellis has refurbished and mounted the chair on a one of a kind frame to make it your favorite place to be in the evening hours. This package comes with a commemorative sign designed by our fifth graders, two interchangeable covers for the seat, a basket containing all kinds of things that are "Swiss" from chocolates to timeless stories like Heidi and The Sound of Music. We’ve included some flowers and skiing décor to add that touch of whimsy. Finally, there is a scrapbook with a brief history of Pebble Creek and some candid shots of GLS fifth graders skiing. There’s plenty of room to add your own family photos. I have talked to Mr. Ellis and he would be willing to throw into the mix the screw driver needed to take the swing apart and assemble it again at the "winning bidders" house.

Miss Shaffer’s Second Grade Class has created a beautiful assortment of Mexican inspired garden accessories that give "Fun In the Sun" a whole new meaning! The accessories include a large, hand painted terracotta planting pot, three colorful mosaic stepping stones, and a lime green, hand painted watering can. These original pieces of art were all created by the second graders themselves. These Mexican inspired garden accessories will surely help your mundane backyard look like a Mexican vacation oasis! In addition to these items we have also included a gift card to Mama Inez Mexican restaurant to make your experience even more authentic!

Mrs. Magnuson’s class project is a beautifully hand-crafted alder wood chest made by Mr. Glen Florence The students worked wonderfully together to help create the apple leaf design on the tin squares of the chest. The chest is filled to the brim with wonderful German items. A cuckoo clock made in Germany begins the list of items. There are two tickets to the October Fest at the Continental Bistro, a six-pack of adult beverages, German candies and chocolates, a moveable wooden puppeteer, and other wonderful items from Germany.

Beautiful queen size Courthouse Steps quilt. Machine pieced by Candie Wyckoff and quilted by Debbie Breese. Multitude of colors will ensure it will go with any décor. This could definitely become a family heirloom. It is 100% cotton, made of quality fabrics from the best fabric houses, and though it took many hours to cut and assemble, I am sure you will agree that it was worth the time and effort. The girls Anne and Julie along with Gabe and Pastor Dinger as we prepare for you and 7 other guests a celebration for German delights at your home or ours! We’ll provide Bratwurst, salad, dessert and beverages all with a German flavor and music to delight you and your guests.

Mrs. Grayson’s 2nd Graders have prepared a Grecian experience to stir the Zorba in all of us! Be sure to take note of the hand-painted urn the children have designed! Put on your hand made Greek themed jewelry by Stacy Gebo. Then get your taste buds ready for a tantalizing meal at the Grecian Key! Once inspired, you will find a cook book to try your own hand at an authentic Mediterranean dish. Then, sit back and relax with a glass of Greek ouzo and laugh your way through the film, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding!" You will also find the "Windex" cure for all Greek ailments, including dirty windows, to add to the fun. Remember…"Opah!" is what you shout when you win this fun item!
